The next day, the first-ever daily strip came out—Lynn had no way of knowing that she would continue writing and drawing FBorFW® until August of 2008!
That’s more than ten thousand comic strips over 29 years!
At its peak, For Better or For Worse® appeared in more than 2,000 newspapers in 23 countries, and was translated into 8 languages for a devoted readership of more than 220 million people.
In September of 2008, thanks to Andrews McMeel Syndication—and the enthusiasm of longtime fans—FBorFW® started being republished, beginning with the first strips from 1979. It continues to run in repeats on our website and in newspapers all over North America.
