Lynn's Comments: This punch line became a title for one of the books. Whenever we released a collection, I’d go thorough the strips that would be included and find a good comment to use on the cover. I was happy to find this one. After choosing a title, it was then a challenge to decide how to draw up the cover illustration!

Lynn's Comments: I usually do my research before I go to work, but I didn’t this time. After I drew up this Sunday page, I went and looked at some “steamy” magazines. None of the women in the sensuous photos were smiling. It made me wonder how much joy was in this business—for them

Lynn's Comments: I once invited a little friend for dinner—without first asking my mom. Mom was a generous person so I couldn’t understand why she was angry with me. Lynn's Comments: One of the funniest projects my daughter was asked to participate in was a vegetable art show. Lynn's Comments: We had a neighbour in Lynn Lake who had three boys. Their dog was used to all kinds of crazy treatment. One of the things the youngest did was straddle the dog like a motorcycle and make engine sounds while twisting his ears as if he was turning the throttle. Amazingly, the dog was perfectly fine with this!

Lynn's Comments: In kindergarten, I turned a hide and seek game into a bit of chaos by taking off all my clothes in the closet where I was hiding. The teacher was not amused and expelled me from her class. I remember my mom accepting the news with resignation. I guess this had been “the last straw.”
