Lynn's Comments: I once went with a friend to visit Harry Morgan and his wife. Harry played the part of the Colonel on “M.A.S.H.” On a tour of their house, Harry’s wife showed me the secret to their long and happy marriage: they had separate bathrooms. At the time, I thought it was a bit excessive to have two bathrooms…but now that I live in a home with two upstairs conveniences, I can safely say that this is one of the reasons my partner and I get along so well—binary biffs.

Lynn's Comments: Around this time, readers were after me to change Elly’s hair. The argument was that she was looking like an aging hippy and needed an upgrade. Lynn's Comments: I gotta say it again…I absolutely loved drawing the dogs. Their facial expressions and body language could be exaggerated far beyond the human forms and the results were always hilarious. After I introduced dogs into the strip, the drawing became more and more enjoyable.

Lynn's Comments: I have served on a number of committees, and just the word “committee” now gives me hives. Seems to me that a lot of committee members show up for the coffee and donuts and that’s about it. If anything gets done, it’s a surprise.

Lynn's Comments: A psychiatrist friend once told me that when someone, male or female, makes a drastic personal change, it’s often reflected in his or her hairstyle. A drastic cut or colour might mean that a serious decision has been made. I wonder if that’s true!
