Lynn's Comments: When "dressing" my characters, I often looked in mail order catalogues to see what was currently fashionable. The dress Elizabeth is wearing in this Sunday page was from the "evening" section of the Sears catalogue. Now, I'd be doing my research online!

Lynn's Comments: As a child, this is something I did. I would imagine I was safe inside a big glass case and that nothing could harm me all night long. Strangely, when I was newly divorced and going through some really difficult times, I would again lock myself inside an imaginary` glass case so I could manage the nights alone. You are never too far away from being a kid inside!

Lynn's Comments: This was done following an attempt to set up a family tent. My guess is that we didn’t bother to follow the instructions!

Lynn's Comments: I recently had an appointment where the receptionist had incredibly long nails—to the extent that she couldn't type easily or send a message on her phone. "Holy smokes!" I said, "Those things are a handicap!" It wasn't the nicest thing to say. It just popped out. I was embarrassed. I apologized and was happy to leave. I thought, "That was something my mother would say!" My outspoken mother died at the age of 72. "Hi, Mom!"
