Lynn's Comments: At my first divorce hearing, there were people in the back of the courtroom eating their lunch. They came every day to watch the proceedings. Better, I was told, than daytime TV. They were privileged to hear some of the most intense and intimate personal information. I wondered why this came under the heading of democracy.

Lynn's Comments: The other driver’s lawyer really did deliver an explanation like this. It was impossible to understand and yet the judge kept nodding as if it was all perfectly clear.

Lynn's Comments: What made my day after the case was dismissed was that the court secretary asked if the judge could have my drawing. Exhibit "A" was put up in the staff room as a sample of original art by yours truly. It wasn't a comic strip, but it was still pretty funny!
