Lynn's Comments: I once turned a tiny greenhouse into a studio; my friend Nancy had her animation studio in a closet. Both of us were happy and productive. You don’t need much when you’re young and inventive.

Lynn's Comments: When I was in high school, some of the girls were glued to bride books—talking about the rings they wanted and the weddings they’d plan. I always thought they were crazy. In the end, I was one of the first to tie the knot. In those days, I’d have been disowned if I moved in with my boyfriend.

Lynn's Comments: I did this to my brother. It was one of those spur-of-the-moment things that seemed like a good idea at the time. His girlfriend, on the other end of the line, was convinced that he had another girl with him. I did such a good job of cooing into the phone, he had a hard time convincing her that it was his sister playing a prank. I paid dearly later on…but it was worth it!
