Lynn's Comments: I don’t know if there’s such a thing as a “Weenie Run,” but if there is, I want a front row seat.

Lynn's Comments: Our friends the Scotts had a menagerie at home. One of the pets their daughter owned was a tarantula spider that ate live crickets. She kept these in her room. Lynn's Comments: When I was in high school, some of the girls were glued to bride books—talking about the rings they wanted and the weddings they’d plan. I always thought they were crazy. In the end, I was one of the first to tie the knot. In those days, I’d have been disowned if I moved in with my boyfriend.

Lynn's Comments: Whenever I can, I thank teachers. It was the teachers in my life who saw potential in a troublemaker and challenged me to do something useful with my skills.
