On The Radio:

In July of 2005, Lynn and Stephanie recorded a radio spot in support of the North Bay and District Association for Community Living. Steph and Lynn were honoured to take part; their voices can be heard in rotation on local radio station EZ Rock (100.5 FM).

The Script:
Lynn: Hi, I'm Lynn Johnston and over the past year I've had the opportunity to introduce a new character, Shannon Lake, a young woman living with intellectual disabilities into my comic strip, "For Better or For Worse". Stephanie, who is Shannon's character, has answered questions I may have been otherwise afraid to ask. She's told me more than I could have expected and it's with great pleasure that she and I have collaborated to bring Shannon into the graphic novel that "For Better or For Worse" has become.

Stephanie: Hi, I'm Stephanie or otherwise known as Shannon Lake. I have had a great opportunity through "For Better or Worse" to share the reality of living with disabilities. Not only am I thankful to the Association for Community Living for all they have done, but I am able through the comic strip to reach out to other people whom may be living with disabilities.
