Instructions:

  1. Click on the design of your choice, and a bigger copy will appear.
  2. Print the image. Depending on your browser, you may need to adjust the "scale" of the art to fit it on the paper.
  3. Use a photocopier to resize the image, if necessary. We recommend using thick but bendable card stock.
  1. If you're carving your pumpkin: tape the stencil to the cleaned and hollowed pumpkin.
  2. Use a thumbtack or pin tool to perforate the stencil, pushing the pin into the top layer of the pumpkin. Make your holes about an eighth of an inch apart.
  3. Remove the pattern, and use a slim knife to cut along your dotted lines.
  4. Remove the carved-out pieces and light your pumpkin up! We recommend battery-powered candles.
  1. If you're painting your pumpkin, use a penknife to cut out the black parts of the design. Use a cutting mat and be careful!
  2. Attach the sheet to your pumpkin.
  3. Use it as a guide: draw the outline of the shapes on the pumpkin if you want to paint it freehand, or press it against the pumpkin as a stencil, while applying paint.
