The comic today (Mar. 3) reminded me of my daughter who is 16. At age 5 she came home from kindergarden and annouced she was getting married, and wanted a big wedding. Her father nearly had a heart attack!!!!!. So we asked when this would take place, she said next month, okay. A week later she came home and said the wedding was off because she caught him giving a apple to the teacher. Oh to be young again.

I figure the comedy show Elly was watching (Feb. 28) was Trailer Park Boys. Hilarious, but yes the language is awful and NOT bleeped out here in Canada!

I was reading Lynn's travelogue and enjoyed it up until the part where she described the girls waiting for business outside the hotel. Lynn, those girls are sex workers! While they may look pretty and well-dressed, they are brutalized and degraded on a daily basis, and there is NOTHING beautiful about the way they are forced to live.
