OH! Poor Connie! Can't wait for tomorrow's strip.

Dunny, CA, USA

I can't wait until tomorrow to find out what happens. Thanks Lynn for "For Better or For Worse" I look forward to it everyday.

Thanking you for speaking to me again, Lynn. I also often wish I had a friend like me. And I loved Saturday's strip--my kids exactly. They play so sweetly when it's just the two of them, but when he has a friend over, she's not allowed in the room. Hard to draw the line between his right to privacy, and her right not to be left out all the time.

Angela, PA, USA

I loved today's strip where Elly is trying on a pair of pants a couple of sizes to small, and is frustrated, throws herself down on the bed, then finally puts on a loose sweater which hides the bulges. No matter how many people criticize Elly's life style, lack of exercise, eating habits, etc., what Lynn is doing here is portraying exactly how so many women are - they don't like their weight gain, but for some reason don't get around to doing that much about it. This is absolute honesty, realism and humour, portrayed in a slightly resigned, but "making the best of it" manner...

It is so nice to see that someone else thinks the same way I do. I Love It!!!

In case anyone ever wondered what would happen in real life if an unsupervised toddler fell into a ravine and nearly drowned, a recent newspaper story might be of interest:

Fortunately, a police officer rescued the boy, age 3.5. The puppy he had with him was not able to do what Farley did in the strip. Notably, the "mother has been charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child" and the "detective said the ordeal was a reminder that adults need to keep a constant watch on young children."
