I was taken aback by yesterday's strip, which joked about wanting to be reincarnated as a man, so as to avoid the chore of vacuuming. I had thought that our society evolved away from this mentality decades ago (let's encourage more fluid gender roles in THIS life, eh?)...and yes, women can be janitors too!!

Picky, picky, picky! Please people, just enjoy the day's work by this wonderfully talented lady and quit trying to read things into the story that you think are there. Let it be! I love every one of these columns now just as much as I did all those years ago. Thanks, Lynn for the memories.

Lynn, Please just keep writing the way you have been. Women may make remarks about house keeping or working outside the home or men that doesn't necessarily mean that they hate who they are or what they are doing, but at the time might be a little frustrated. Your strip was named for what life is about "For Better or For Worse" not "Always Politically Correct & Always Rosey" I think most people can identify with the Pattersons...if they can't they've either forgotten or never lived.

Hmmm...When the Liz-Anthony story arc was moving to its conclusion I don't recall even one poster who praised Anthony for cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and learning to sew....or even congratulated Liz on finding such a "helpful" mate. I wonder why?

I got my Farley last week and saved it to give to my little 3 month old grandson. I was babysitting, and I tucked Farley into the top of the diaper bag. When my daughter saw him, her immediate response was "AWWWwww!" And then she said "Wait a minute. Where have I seen him before?" and I told her it was Farley from FB or FW. She said "Oh yeah!" Another satisfied customer.
