A 3 mo old child cannot "act up". Acting up is when a child is doing it to gain attention or get what they want. A 3 month old would merely be responding the only way they knew how.
I, too, have taken my children out of restaurants, grocery stores, museums, etc. I have also swatted their bottoms to get their attention. There is a HUGE difference between a swat on the bottom every now and then and beating a child.
Lynn, I love the strip. Thank you for all you do.

When did Elly begin wearing her hair up in a bun? Was there a story line accompanying her hairstyle change?
Pat H, UT, USA
Elly started wearing her hair up in a bun...heck, I don't know! Maybe this is a question for the serious strip researchers out there! As the kids grew and they changed, I made Elly look a bit more mature as well. Putting wrinkles on the face of a cartoon character prematurely ages them, so I didn't start doing that until Elizabeth was out of university.
Anyone want to do the research on the bun question? We will send a FBorFW print to the first person to tell us the answer to Pat's question.
