I bought The Bestest Present from the store as new stock became available. With overseas postage it was a little expensive for one cartoon but I thought, 'What the heck!'
What I received was worth every cent. My whole family sat in front of it entranced. My two daughters cried when Elizabeth dropped her bunny and told John he had walked past it! When my youngest daughter showed it to her friends who knew nothing about the Pattersons they were similarly entranced. When I get a few more cents I'm coming straight back for the other specials dvd!
The only thing I was wondering was whether the story was totally original as I haven't seen it in the collections. If it is, where does it fit in the FBOFW timeline?
Thank you Lynn for a lovely Christmas treat.

The Bestest Present is totally original. I wrote the script, and the lyrics. I chose the voices and my children did the voices of Michael and Elizabeth -I coached them in the audio booth! I drew many of the key position, worked on the backgrounds and sat in on all the editing. It was one of the happiest times in my life and I was very proud of the result. Thanks for asking!
