I think that the "winner" of the Wonderwife v.Supermom contest should be whichever woman is being most authentically herself, doing what she does because she loves to do it, not because society expects her to do it.

Yes, when we choose to marry and/or have children, we are effectively choosing to take on certain responsibilities. But there are many ways to carry them out responsibly and well (not perfectly!), and in the end,how we do so are decisions that everyone must make for himself or herself. Life's too short to be held prisoner by unrealistic expectations, be they from others or ourselves.

And as a final two cents (uh, make that two beans, I guess!) I'd like to say that I am genuinely enjoying the old strips. I didn't catch FBorFW for most of its first run, so this is a great deal of fun for me.

I had to laugh out loud at today's strip-my husband is a dentist and also knows people by their teeth! Too funny! That one is going on the fridge- thanks!

Yaay!! I'm happy to see Halloween Treats back in the Fun Stuff section! That was one of my favorite games last year! Very happy to see it return!

I do miss some of the old characters, will there be a bio on Becky? I'm curious on her career and background, since she had a difficult home life with parents divorcing, and juggling a double life of normality and stardom. one of my favorite strips was when the band was about to go on stage, and the anticipation could've killed them, but April had to deal with an embarrassing ordeal. it looked like something that happened to me around her age! but I digress, I would love to see a bio for becky!

Allie, USA

We'll put Becky's bio on the priority list, Allie! Thanks for your input.

The more I read the comments on Coffee Talk, the more I am thankful that I can just read and enjoy the strip, and not try to over-analyze every panel. Whew!! Some people need to remember they are on the "comic" pages, not the editorials. Keep up the fine work.

I am thoroughly enjoying the strips with little Lizzie, from infancy and as a toddler. I'm in love with her.
