I'm sick of reading coffee talk and probably won't anymore. Seems to be 90% negativity and only 10% positive. I wouldn't blame Lynn if she stopped the strip all together after getting daily barrages of so much negativity.

By the way, I know if it were Elly belitteling John or making "men are stupid" jokes, you all would think it's funny and would expect everyone to laugh. Thanks to the old Rosanne show it seems that to humiliate and belittle men is ok, but when it comes to a man saying something about PMS or maternity leave then it's a bad thing to get all up in arms about. How many of you would stand up for a John if the shoe was on the other foot? My guess is not one of you would.

I just brought up the adorable Farley and pictures of you. Thank you for your sweet, funny, tangy, patho's,story lines over the years. I have the cartoon teaching the kids how to replace the toilet tissue roll. I had it laminated and framed,it has lived in my Bathroom for years and I still love it!I think my kids were about 10 & twelve when I first put it up....they too shared the same expression as your kids!!

I love your book "Shes Turning Into One of Them". Thats the only book Ive read by you. Im only 13 and Ive first bought one of your books when I was I think 11 and Ive completely fallen in love with it! I hope to buy another one of your books soon because I only have one of your books. What I had in mind was "Never Wink at a Married Woman" or "There Goes my baby". Well i have to go to bed now. My mom thinks Im sleeping but Im staying up so I can read your book for the thousandth time!

Is it possible to tell us the original publication date of the strips? They are timeless in many ways but I'm often curious about it.

It's possible, but a real pain...because I haven't kept them in order, I've pulled them from here and there, to fit into the writing I've been doing and avoiding the ones I used when I did the flashbacks in 2007/8. The best way to track the work is to find the 2 first books: "The One More Washload Blues" and "Is this One of Those Days, Daddy?" Everything you see is taken from these. Thanks for asking! Lynn J.
