YEAH keep up the great work Lynn, reading your strip is a 'must do' part of my day!

Thank you so much for starting over with the classic strips, be they originals, reworked, or whatever. As a kid, my mom cut out dozens of strips and taped them to the fridge. She always said that Lynn must be looking in our windows to get ideas. Like Elly, she had two kids, one boy, one girl, a dog, a house, a husband, the whole works. Now I'm the one with the husband and two kids (almost the same ages as the younger Michael and Elizabeth) and it dawned on me the other day: "NOW I'M ELLY!" It's such a delight to come full circle like that. Hardly a day goes by I don't cut out a strip. Now you're looking in my windows, aren't you!?!

For some reason... and I don't know the motivation... I just wanted to say thanks. Your strip is a great start to my day.

I am absolutely loving the re-runs of FBOFW! I can honestly say that I can relate to just about all of the dialogue. Its so good to still be able to look at the innocence of a child's viewpoint. Great job Lynn!

I just came across the strip of Michael having to say a very flowery "SORRY" to Elizabeth and laughed out loud at the illustration of the word "Sorry". Lynn always has had a way of making me laugh through the simple illustrations. I have also laughed at Ellie running down the street in her housecoat carrying garbage bags and a stampede of kids' legs with hot dogs coming out of the buns that Ellie holds. This strip has been my favorite since I was 10 years old. I like the early years of the Patterson family.

On August 31 I loved the prices on the wall menu in the eatery. A banana split for $1.75! Whether in Canada or the U.S., that is a bargain we haven't seen in a very long time!
