The first For Better or For Worse had always been my favorite comic strip, you know, the one for which I bought the paper. I am disappointed with the new strip. The little jokes seem to be unkind. The interactions between Elly and John are often put-downs of Elly - the unthinking sexist view. The material seems out of date, an old world-view, whereas the old strips showed me kindness and understanding between and among people - something that I appreciated so much each day or each week. I have never visited the website before. Lynn Johnston is so beautiful and kind looking.

I am so-o-o-o enjoying the strip again! My children are Michael's and Elizabeth's ages... Brings back so many memories of when they were young! Loved it then.. Enjoying it even more now!

You promised your fans last year that in the first year of the new-runs you would have a ratio of 50% new-runs to reprints. By my count, as of today's new-run on Thursday, August 27, 2009; you have produced your 183rd new-run, putting you over the 50% mark, with 4 days to spare before the end of August, one year after you started the new-runs. Congratulations.

The 2010 "For Better Or For Worse" wall calendar is supposed to have a "family photo album" theme. On the cover of the calendar are what one would assume are several family photos, including a photo of Elly in the bath. What I would like to know is, who took that picture of Elly in the bath?

When Michael was showing off his school supplies to John, and john commented that this is just like Christmas and Liz goes Yah. Michael goes accept you didn't get anything. I felt bad for Lizzie. I would then go back to the store to get Liz crayons, and construction paper to draw. I would also correct Michael and them him that is not nice. He could have been the younger one.
