Just loved the Aug. 20th strip about Farley. The absolute joy captured on Farley's face when he reunited with Michael and Elly....They do love us so and miss us when we're not there.

I found the Pattersons once the strip had been running for some time; my paper had not carried it til then. I enjoy catching up with the ones I missed. My children are all grown but these strips remind me of so much.

For Better or Worse is the ONLY daily cartoon that I actually read. In its own category (well..only shared by the dearly missed Calvin and Hobbes), it is such a wonderful blend of artistry, humor and wit.And it has lost nothing in the transition back to the early days of the Patterson family. I just wanted to express my appreciation for a wonderfully entertaining strip that is ALWAYS a joy to read. Please keep it coming!!

I just read the comments re: pop vs. soda. In Upstate NY, it's called soda from Utica eastward. In western NY, it's pop. Go east of Utica and say "pop" and people will look like you as though you are from Mars.
