My soon to be husband and I love camping. We camp every chance we get. We find that real family time can be found when your in the middle of no where and your precious electricity is gone. Recently our son has been questioning very move we make and every move he is going to make. I know this is him trying to catch a grasp on time but some of the things are getting rather out there. So when I read this strip during my break this morning I fell in love with it. I cut it out, scanned it on the printer to my e-mail, and then sent it to my man, my mom, my future mother in law and my best friend.

I started reading FBORFW a couple years back and I've loved it ever since! I love that you tackle "grown-up" issues - like Michael's friend being gay, etc... It's a great family strip. Keep it up!

I'm missing Elizabeth today. School in the States is getting ready to start in some places and I'm a teacher. We've been in meetings, spending time getting our rooms ready, and calling new parents. Even though I imagine that Elizabeth and Anthony and daughter are enjoying the last few days of summer, I wonder what they are up too. Francie is getting to be school age, like my son and I wonder how she's feeling about going to school. Or did they homeschool? Does Elizabeth feel like her mom now that she's a mom? It's hard being a Mom and a Teacher. It's hard to spend all day doing something you LOVE and then come home to the people you love...it's hard to find the energy to give to your kids. Our family has to deal with scheduling family vs. work, and sometimes that's a real struggle.
I've read the strip for years and I love all you who put so much time, effort and love into Lynn and her Characters...Blessings!

For Better or For Worse has not appeared in my local paper for over a year. I still miss it so much. Having raised a family myself I often could identify with what was happening with the Patterson Family. Thank you so much for sharing all of that for so long.

The other day someone mentioned animation, and it made me wonder... will we ever see these revisited strips become animated? I always enjoyed the blinking eyes and little motions. It would be great to see those back again!

No. Unfortunately, that was an experiment that took too much time and was too expensive. Perhaps, as electronics improve, we'll do more experiments! Thanks for asking! LJ
