I've followed the strip for ?? years--it was, & is so true to life. I just re-read the last phase (8-31-08 )that I saved. So many happenings could have been my life! :-) April looks just like a young lady in our church. You are SUCH A TALENTED ARTIST!!! Is this family real? I have cut many episodes out and sent them to our great-grandchildren. I love the retelling now..Michael cracks me up as a child! Thank you so much..you make my day EVERY day!!!!

Having just retired and on acomputer, I'm so thrilled to have your strip on my "favorites". I began reading your comic strip in the 70's with the strip about Ellie cooking breakfast and sweeping during their camping trip, working her little tail off and Jon says "don't you just love the smell of fresh coffee in the morning and the mountain air"...or something similar. I've long lost that strip. I can't get my day started without first reading FBorFW. Also have Mary Ellen's advice books with your illustrations. Never stop, Lynn, you're a breath of fresh air!!

When you first announced you were going to go back to the beginning of FBOFW, I remember sighing and thinking, well she may as well just cancel the strip. An avid reader of your strips for numerous years, I didn't think you would have anything of interest to offer up, as I have already read all your strips. However, little did I realize how much I would enjoy your change. I'm still able to relate to the story lines (as I'm now a mother of two young children) and I find myself still wanting my FBOFW fix on a daily basis. So in the end I just wanted to tell you, job well done and that your risk paid off.

FBoFW is the last thing I read every morning, so it's the "taste" I remember all day. Love it!
