I am very tired of all the criticism of Lynn. Try thinking up a funny idea. Then try drawing it. Every day. Then try doing that with a husband and little kids. Then try cleaning up the kitchen after you and everyone else has made a giant mess. Then open up the refrigerator and sort out what is going on in there. If you cannot compete, do not complain. Harumph and grumble!

I am really enjoying your trip back in time. Seeing Farley again is really a joy. I had a question about today's strip. Were Gameboys that small back in the eighties? Or is your strip set in today's time? Thanks for the fun each day.

Kim E, Stockton, CA

Gameboys weren't around in the early 80's, but there were small hand-held single-game units available. The games were much simpler than today's versions, but could be just as addictive!

I distinctly remember being a young, rebellious 9-year old girl and playing my brick of a Game Boy under the covers with a flashlight. This was back before they thought light-up screens were an awesome idea. Oh, the 90s. Then again, I play my Nintendo DS now, with the light up screen, with a small light on because the screen is just TOO bright when there are no other lights on. Michael is probably playing one of those small, hand-held games you bought as-is. My grandma had some at her house when we were little, you pressed the right or left buttons to move your racecar or whatnot right or left and out of the way of oncoming obstacles, and see how many points you can rack up before having a spectacular pixelated crash. Not like the fancy doodads we have today, nosir. XD But somehow, highly entertaining.
