I loved the Sunday, June 7 strip where Elly forgot the salt in 24 lbs of dough! LOL--every bread baker has been there. Just wondering if Lynn bakes bread regularly? Any favorites?

Why is John the one taking the dog to obedience school? I would think that Elly would have jumped at the opportunity to meet with other adults while her husband stayed home with the kids, especially as:
1) At the obedience school, Elly could meet other adults and have something in common to visit about. After all, she did tell John that she wanted "human contact" (see Jun 13 strip. I think that the word "adult" was meant, as her husband and children are human.)
2) Elly's the one who would be with the dog the most, as John would be away at work most of the time. Therefore, it's more important for Elly to know how to handle the discipline.
3) Any time John leaves her sight, Elly's terrified that he's going to be with some other woman. If he's home taking care of the kids, then she shouldn't have to worry.
4) It would allow more time for John and the kids to be together, as he's gone most of their day.
To have him take the dog because she can't leave the house for no explicable reason is sort of Tailibanish.
