I read with interest the post that wondered if Laurence wanted to use is own bathroom as ruse to check on his mother. If so that is sweet, but shame on Connie. I have seen too many single mothers rely on their young sons to be the "little man" of the house - too much pressure! Let's hope this story is what it is, and that is a hilarious story about a boy needing to use his own bathroom!!

Ha,ha, my two boys would have done exactly what Michael and Lawrence did - we found one sleeping in our garage one night and the other made a trip through our greenbelt with two friends at the same age! I have been laughing all morning. Thanks for the joy.

I recently bought and read all of your collection books. It was a blast going through them in order starting with Lizzie as a baby and ending with her wedding. The crises, milestones and humor along the way are priceless. Thank you so much for the ride!

I just wanted to thank you for many years of reading enjoyment. My college roommate's mother used to cut-out your comic strips and mail them to us to read. A little break in our studies. Now 12 years later, I still read your comic strip online for a little break from raising my kids. Thanks again.

Little late but congradulations on your retirement. I`ve been reading your strip since first published in the Salt Lake Tribune. Thanks for the tears as well as the laughs!

Last October 2008 I adopted a starved, beaten and abandoned Great Pyrenees (white with badger) male dog with the name FARLEY. So far my special diet, daily exercise and lots of love, patience and understanding is working superbly. He is called "gorgeous" by just about everyone.
I did not know what folks were saying when they heard his name FARLEY and said that he looked like the dog in the cartoon FBorFW. Bought a paper this past Saturday - the BARK BARK BARK one. That's MY Farley ok. Sending a photo of us to you. Love the strip!!!
