When you ended your strip and started over, the Sacramento Bee stopped publishing FBoFw. I have been a fan for many years and I miss it. Why aren't you in the Bee daily anymore?

Also, when I lived in Medford I was so proud of your portrayal of the high school character that came out of the closet. I can't remember his name but there were a number of people picketing the paper because of the tolerance toward homosexuality that your strip portrayed. That was when I knew I wanted to move! And I've loved your strip ever since.

I lost a grandparent recently, the 2nd of may actually. And many things remind me of her. This comic included.I've found a new love for this comic strip, because it shows so many moments in a families lifetime that im not going to be able to have ever again with out my grandmother. And its almost like having another conversation with her. And i have to say thank you for your time in writing and drawing a second life in sorts.
