I want to thank you so much for your stories. I am a Canuck transplant to the South, but reading you every day gives me a little piece of Canada, eh?

I LOVE your comic strip, It is my favorite of all times and I am 75, It is so typical and down to earth, I love the caracters, and the dog. I stopped our Newspaper but I am on line first thing every morning reading your strip.Thank you, Thank you. for your Humor I love it.

Carolyn L, Spokane, WA

I love your games your web site and some of your books.

I've enjoyed FBorFW for decades, reread the early original strips in book form and had looked forward to seeing the strip reinvented. Whereas the original strip seemed to take a light-hearted poke at everyday struggles, the 'new' strip has a much more bitter feel. Lynn's interviews have spoken to her interest in revisiting old strips, filling in missing holes and making things fit together better. While this helps with background on Connie and others, it also brings in an unfortunate sort of hindsight that people just don't have when they're enjoying the moment.

Granted, life isn't always easy, people aren't always completely understanding and kind, but people have a way of picking themselves up each morning, dust off yesterday's grime, and start anew with hope and joy. Elly used to do this regularly. I'm missing the old Elly. There's no reason for her to approach life at 30 with the experience and heartache of a red-hatter.

Tammy, Hamilton, ON

I recently bought your new book, "Farley Follows His Nose", and we love it! Your comic strip has always been my favorite, but the "Globe and Mail", which is the only paper my husband reads (& I don't have time to read another), doesn't run it, so I've been out-of-touch since we've been in Toronto. The book is perfect, and my daughter has read it to me and giggles over the dog noises, as I do. Thank you for a great "learning to read",

Mary M, Toronto, ON

Couldn't you please at least devote one month or year or some such system to the original family? I can't tell you how much I miss them. I just can't relate to the flash-back bunch.

Suzanne B, FL

Ellie's family became my family a long time ago. The episode where Michael held up baby April with a fuming diaper many years ago has stayed with me. I cried when Farley died as if he were my own. Thanks for the wonderful people you gave us Lynn.
