I'm glad I dont live in Northern MN

I loved Elly doing the raspberry sound BLFPTTT!! It was amazing. With a little research I uncovered this history of raspberry sounds in your comic strip:
4/23/1997 Edgar does BLFFTTK
12/14/2000 Young Rosemary does BLFTTT
5/15/2003 Young Meredith does BLFFT
7/27/2003 Young Meredith does BLFPPPP
12/19/2003 Young Meredith does BLFFTT
4/23/2007 Grown-up Elizabeth does BWAPPBLFTT11/20/2007 Young Elizabeth does BLFF
2/1/2008 Young Elizabeth does BLFFF
9/13/2008 Young Elizabeth does BFLBTTT, PFFBLTTT, BLFPTT followed by young Michael doing BFPBTTF.
You did not use the same combinations of letters for your raspberry sound even once in over 10 years. That is an amazing feat. Do you keep a record of which raspberry sounds you have used, so you don't repeat?

I really have enjoyed the strip from the time it began through the present. I am so pleased to have the daily strip go back to how it was when I first began reading it as a young adult, and yet have it be fresh and new. I have been married to the same man for over 27 years and have three children: ages 25, 23, and 11. So I have sort of grown up with the Patterson family and experienced the same sorts of things Elly has. Sometimes I think I would have wanted the storyline to go on, but I realize it was very complicated, as Lynn describes in her web site entry, and that surely is how life is. True to form. And don't you know I cherish and enjoy my memories of my own children they way they were when they were younger....and the strip reminds me of these memories, daily! Wonderful!

I LOVE today's strip. What a great way to look at it, you can go fishing without keeping the fish. My fiance and I have what we call the "touch and go" rule. You can look all you want, but the instant you touch, you go!!! It will do Elly good to feel pretty and sexy. She should definately take a girls night out with Connie, so long as she keeps her wedding ring on! But then, I don't think that is an issue to worry about with Elly.

It seems in the "re write" elly doesn't like men or thinks her family appreciated her enough.
