I have taught a high school class on relationships for 39 years and use comics to make a point. The comic in our Sunday Register Guard (ending with "I've never worked so hard in my life") is one I cut out many years ago when it first ran and still have for making the point that keeping a marriage going is hard work. It was great to see it printed so many years later.

Had to laugh at todays strip, where Elllie loses Lizzie while paying for a purchase and a "stranger" hands Lizzie back saying "same jeans, wrong leg" Seriously...how many people has that happened to? I know my children have grabbed the wrong leg in their time, as have I had another child grab my legs...so funny. Thats what I love so much about FBOW...its real life! Its nice to relive the family history too, specially knowing how the children have "grown up"

I loved the strip on the 17th May as apparently I did the exact same thing with my father. It was at a Navy function with a "forest" of white dress pant legs. I latched onto what I though was my Father, looked up, and it wasn't. The gentleman very calmly asked whether anyone has lost me and I was returned to my parents.

I really enjoy reading the retro ''For Better or For Worse'', and really loved this Sunday's strip, where Elizabeth was clinging to someone else's leg... that happened to me when I was about Lizzie's age, and I've never forgotten it! I appreciate how Lynn makes her strip so true to life!!

Laughing my head off at Saturday's strip! Every time I tell my son to tone down the noise, he feeds me the "But my toys were talking, and they have to talk that loud" line.

Of course I too am missing some of the continuing story lines of the strip, but I also really appreciate being able to share Elly's early story with my daughters. They are now at exactly the same place Elly and I were at when the story was told the first time around. Although they are both working women, their maternity leaves are allowing them to be at-home mums for a year, so the stories are still true to life for them too. Thanks for all your hard work, Lynn

So suddenly Elly has no free time? Is this the same universe as last week, when she spent strip after strip glugging coffee with a friend while talking about things they both already knew about Connie?
