The Mother's Day comic for Sunday was a breath of fresh air. I throughly enjoyed it, and I appreciate the thought and care that obviously went into it.

Well, I am royally ticked! After my comments in this forum that I could never give up the original FBorFW I slowly became addicted to the new strip. Especially with the added appeal of the beloved Farley! Well, I go away for 2 weeks and come back and the newspaper has dropped FBorFW and I am just chewing nails!! Thanks, Mobile Press Register for messing up royally!!!!

I have been reading this comic strip off and on since I was a child. I am 37 now. I so loved it as I related to the children and their cunundrums while growing up. I loved watching them age and seeing the trials and tribulations of this family. I was heart broken when I heard that the comic was phasing out. As an adult I had become an avid fan, bookmarking it on my internet homepage and reading it daily. What joy to discover that Lynn was taking it back to the beginning! I have a 2 year old son now and I feel that she writes this comic exclusively for me, at times. I can so relate to Elly and John's issues with their own children, with the aging process, etc... Thank you Lynn for being a voice I can relate to and for not taking this family away just yet!

Does anyone remember when Elizabeth slammed the toilet seat on Farley's head when he was drinking from the toilet? My wife and I laugh about this all the time, and we wish we could find a copy of that strip (it goes back to the late 1970's or early 1980's).

When will the Farley plush toys be available?

Emily G, Montreal, QC

As Lynn explained in "News Bites", there was a problem with the original production run of the Farley toys. The project is still in the works, and we should have news on it for you soon!
