Sunday's strip, with Farley chowing down on hardboiled (not chocolate) eggs reminded me of a popular and inexpensive "craft" --making "Eggshell Mosaics"! You saved all the eggshells from your Easter Baking, washed them thoroughly in warm water, and air-dried them. You then "dyed" batches of shells with different Easter (or food) colorings. You cut Poster Board into smaller sheets and traced simple outline drawings from coloring books onto them. The kids would put a dab of white glue in one area, take a postage-stamped sized piece of shell in the appropriate hue, and "Smoosh" it into place, working slowly across the whole sheet. (Mom might help fill any "gaps" by glueing in "shell fragments".) The "mottling" and "mosaic" effects were quite nice --and a coat of clear varnish sealed the "Masterpieces"!

I just received my book, "just a simple wedding".And it's signed! I was thrilled! I treasure all my books, but especially this one, as it contains the end of a wonderful story. Thank you! Thank you!

As a clinical social worker, I am using the FBorFW collections to help one of my patients to regain her ability to read and comprehend. She is suffering from severe posttraumatic stress disorder & finds this strip very helpful both in regaining her ability to read & to relax & elevate her mood. Thanks, Lynn.
