Happy 18th Birthday, April!

My mom laughed so hard at the strips when you were born, especially the pizza "We Deliver" one. I'm glad you survived everything and are now living out west, where you probably have extended family and better weather than back east, and a heck of a lot less stress than living in the same town with your mom and dad, with the some guy you'd known from high school, living in one of the same neighborhoods that your parents or your sister is living in, being a babysitter for Mike's kids.
The only drawback is that the only family members that will visit Jim and Iris are Anthony and Liz, when they bring their newborn baby son by to show off. And maybe Mike, the next time he sells a book. But I think that you'd be sending your grandparents notes and calling them often, because that's the type of person you are.

Again, happy birthday!

HI
I miss reading your script, I don't like going back into time. I miss hearing abut Grandpa and how his health is doing, Elizabeth and her marriage, and April as a adult and how you are doing in your small home, have you gotten adjusted to all these changes.

I first met the Pattersons in our daily paper the Advertiser. I was so sad when things changed and our paper stopped printing it.I am so pleased to keep in touch through the internet. I want to know all the latest news from each member. Is Granpa still alive. Is Elizabeth married. What is April doing. My Grand daughter Ashleigh is also an April the 1st.(1992)
Thanks for your website. I feel as though you are family, just a long way away...Love and best wishes for whatever you do...Love from the land down under....
