Dear folks!
I've been thinking about our monthly "letter from Elly"and it occurred to me that a better thing to do would be to let you imagine for yourselves what's going on behind the scenes. We don't know what any of the sit-com characters do between episodes, it's all up to our imaginations- and sometimes our imaginations are pretty colorful! Thus it is with the strips! So, with this in mind, I'm replacing the letter with something that was always of utmost importance to me when I was raising offsprings...and that's food!! How do you get stuff into the opening that leads to a child's stomach? Hunger, taste and variety aside... it's usually a visual stimulus....fun designs, fun colors. It's also great incentive to eat when the kids can take part in the preparation of said fuel!! I'm giving you some of our fave hands-on family fastfoods with the hope you'll reciprocate and send me some of yours. Creative, easy and fun will be most appreciated, and once a week, we'll choose a sender at random to receive a limited edition print in return! As a granny at heart, with lots of friends begging for alimentary aid, I await your input!!!
Thanks! Lynn Johnston
