Way back in 1989 I was having a really bad day at work (publishing, magazine)and walked across the street to Collesium Books. I found my first compilation of For Better or For Worse and I was hooked. I had read the comic strip now and again but having them altogether in one book at a time was heaven. I got my boyfriend (later husband) to read them. I hesistate to say it became a bathroom library staple. Years passed and eventually I had a child of my own. Thanks for preparing me. One day my son (eight at the time) was in the bathroom for a long while. I knocked as asked if everything was okay, he said "Yeah, but are there more of these books?"

So thankyou Lynn for all the stories, for making me realize that everyone goes through Mom stuff, and lastly and most important, getting my son into reading.

I only wish it could go on and on.

Hi Lynn!
This morning I got a big Smile from the Strip about how Michael and Deanna met. Of course knowing what they become is cool too. I am enjoying the new old stuff. Happy New Year FBOFW Team!

I'm mighty jealous of Elly and John getting to go back a re-raise the children. My children are 40, 37 and 33 now, and I would dearly love to start over again with them. Of course, I'd have to wait for the six grands all over again.
Anyway, it's fun seeing Michael as a little brat again, picking on his sister and Deanne. He is so real. I often feel as he does. I can let Michael express those feelings for me.

Thanks, Lynn, for all the Sunday strips that you have made with few or no words. I remember as a youngster, always loving to read the comics on Sunday. It's makes me happy to think there are little ones today that can appreciate the "funnies" even if they can't read.

Dr. Lynn-
Can I just echo the former request for "up to date" letters? I'd love to see what the cast of characters is up to since Liz's wedding.
