Hi Lynn,
Please, please, please don't turn this in to a soap opera.... I love Liz and Anthony and don't believe that Warren can come out of the blue to say "I love you"... No, no, no..... Warren doesn't need to be heart broken no more than Anthony or Liz.... Please don't do this.....

Let's keep the script true....

Thank you

Andrea, MD

Yeay! I'm glad that Warren's back! I'm glad to see that he's been doing some soul-searching, and that he is ready for some change. This, at least, will allow Liz a chance to really make a choice, although I have a bad feeling that Anthony won't really give her much of a choice. Please don't let her feel guilted into a deeper relationship with Anthony! Let her find the man who will be best for her and who she will be best for.

Lauren, NH

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Warren is the better man for Liz. Warren, please whisk Liz away in your helicopter so that she can have the wonderful adventures she not only deserves but, that I want to read about.

Oh My Gosh!!!!! I've been flabbergasted by Warren coming back into the picture. I can't believe he quit his job!!! I mean we all know that his job was the only thing getting in the way of them having a relationship. Now I don't want to get too excited because I think I know Elizabeth pretty well and I bet she's going to tell him it's too late. Oh jeeze, I am literally hanging off the edge of my seat waiting for what tomorrow brings! All I have to tell Liz is follow your heart!

Ashley L, Nazareth PA

I sure hope that Elizabeth tells Warren that she is in love with Anthony. She needs to send Warren on his way after breaking her heart like he did.

I hate the way Liz looks in this weeks strips. She looks just like a carbon copy of Elly. You can do better Lynn. Please let the girls wear their hair down.

Pete, BC

Enough! Now Warren comes back into Liz's life, after how long, and announces his love for her? Send him packing and let's get on with the Liz and Anthony show!!

Sue L, Pennsylvania

Yeah, Warren is back! This is the first time in awhile that I couldn't wait to read the next strip. I always thought that Warren never really got a fair shot or any development. Thanks, Lynn!

Melissa, VA

Yay, Lynn! Now Liz's life is getting intriguing again! I don't know yet who I would like to see her end up with, but at least now I don't feel as though she's already married to Anthony, which is how I felt in some of the previous strips. Thanks for always keeping us guessing, and for making Liz's life, and ours, interesting!

Ann, Philadelphia

Woo hoo!!! Love the dilemna you just put our Liz into. Good going Lynn!!! Ahhhh the love triangle....will she? Does she?? Can't wait to read more!!!

Candace, Chicago

Really? Two different men throw away what to most people are very important things in their lives and run after Liz because they "have no home", even though they (supposedly) know their previous relationship with her is over? Give me a break. Not that I'm not pleased to see that milquetoast Anthony has some competition, but changing up the plotline a little more would have been nice.

Denise L, Chicago

Hello again! I've written before to tell you how much I've loved this strip, so I write this with the same affection, even though it pains me to do so.
When I saw the new storyline in Monday's paper, I sighed. Why does there always have to be some complication for Liz? Why can't she have her happiness for a while?
With Warren's return, it just seems like you're pandering to the masses who don't like Anthony. Well, some of us do and wish well enough could have been left alone. And regarding today's strip, which is what compels me to comment now, what kind of alternative is Warren offering himself to be? He quit his job, leapt off that bridge, if you will, without checking to see if his bungee cord was attached? That's an attractive choice. Not! It seems like he's deferring his dreams just as people are criticizing Liz for doing.
I hope the rest of the week's strips feature Liz telling him she's in a stable relationship with a good guy she loves and who loves her. Maybe then this hate some people have for Anthony can be exorcised once and for all.

Jennifer D, Maryland

Ah, Warren re-enters, in his usual gust-of-wind style, blowing out of nowhere without warning (although readers like me have been expecting it).
Time for him to realize that he can't expect Liz to be pining away and waiting for him; she has moved on, and his desire for security has come too late. Before anyone cries "foul!" please do consider one's own missed chances in life. How many of these are we truly allowed (or even should we be allowed) to revisit? There have been plenty here already, and as has been pointed out before, Liz --in the deepest part of her heart-- wants someone solid: her father's type, not the exotic & adventurous type. Warren is a nice guy, but they never "clicked."
Clearly, now she doesn't want his hug and she doesn't want him to give up his life for her. She couldn't give up her life for Paul (nor Paul for Liz) and hopefully she has matured enough to realize what Warren is trying to do. In the end, he would only be unhappy.
PLEASE let this be the catalyst for Liz & Anthony to begin their wedding plans!

I have written to you about this before, and in the greater scheme of plotlines, characterizations, and so forth it may be small, but to me it is very striking, and odd...So again, WHY do Liz, April, and Ellie never, ever wear their hair in anything but a bun or a ponytail? It's frumpy, it's dumpy, and, especially with the two girls, it's completely unrealistic to expect that a girl or young woman would never wear her hair loose.

In particular with the strip of the last two days, WHY WHY WHY would Liz be wearing her hair in a bun inside her own apartment after 11 p.m.? It's inconceivable. And she looks like some spinster librarian! Come on, Lynn! I'm really confused as to why you think long hair on women is problematic. Does it make them promiscuous or something? What kind of character flaws do girls with loose, flowing hair suffer from? Please address this, because while we joke about it, a lot of us readers find it really puzzling and annoying.

Today's episode REALLY bothered me and convinced me what a total LOSER Warren really is. He disappears for months at a time with not so much as a phone call or a letter. Then, he reappears in time to destroy whatever relationship Liz is persuing. If he really loved her instead of being obsessed with her, he would have kept in touch, made his feelings known, waited for her feelings to become mutual and then found a good job near Liz. They could have found a place together and then, he could have quit flying. Anthony may be a little bit boring, but he has stayed with Liz even when times were rough. He has stayed with her no matter what. That is what a relationship is about.I know that there are a lot of Anthony detractors out there, but if you want to put Liz with somebody else, there are a lot of better men out there than Warren. Try somebody new instead of this mistake waiting to happen. I have loved your strip and read it for decades. Please don't let it end with this mess for Liz!!

Nancy, CA

Liz can't hook up with Warren!! Anthony is too great!!! Please don't let it happen! I am 35 and have been reading FBorFW since. . . about age 8!! I just now read it mostly for Liz and grandpa Jim. This strip is like, part of my family!

Juna, AK

YAY! WARREN!! Please don't send him the way of Paul Wright... Isn't Liz better off with someone who actually loves her, instead of someone who clings to her like a security blanket? Have Liz make an independent decision for once.
