The story line about the wedding dress is so disappointing. It is logical that Elly forgot she put the dress in the crawl space. It is not logical that Dee and Mike think that they now own the dress instead of immediately calling Elly. When do they plan to give the dress back to Elly?

Am I imagining it? In today's strip I see Grandpa Jim's profile beginning in Michael. Notice Michael's mouth and chin---it's his grandfather's. Very cool!

I have always enjoyed FBorFW but when my daughter informed us that she was pregnant, it took on an EXTRA appeal because that was around the time that Elly was pregnant with April! My granddaughter, Ashley, was born a few months before April, but throughout her growing years it has been as though you are writing about her!! We are a 3 dog household & with every dog-related strip, I have seen myself at one time or another, including the deaths of precious pets. I read the full paper before reading your strip, savoring the best for last!! You must have had a wonderful life since NO-ONE could "make up" the tales you do in your strip!! Thank you so very much for bringing the Pattersons "to life"!!

Being a fan of FBorFW for a long time, I had never noticed that Michael and Deanna had gone to Western University in the comic strip. I am currently a student there. Looking back at comic when Micheal and Deanna were students there I can completely relate to many aspects.

Gosh, I wonder who will be wearing that dress as she is force-marched down the aisle?

I suppose it is only fair: a moldy dress to compliment her discarded dreams.

Seriously: the most interesting thing about Anthony (besides the part where the married man begs a woman who has just escaped a rape-attempt to "wait for him") was his mustache.

I am 9 years old in grade 4 and love your work! I have chosen you to do my Heritage Fair project on,for March of this Year. I hope that someday to become an illustrator and comic artist like you.I have 3 other siblings and can understand how crazy funny some days can be. Thanks,a true fan,Jillian(aka. Jilly Bean)

I've been married almost 8 years, I have a 4 year old and a 10 month old. My "spark" is lost, I am worn out, I am tired, I am boring. My children do sometimes take me to my last nerve. I wish we had our "spark" and things were like our courtship. We are working to get out of our "rut", but thank you for portraying Mike and Dee just as you are, it makes me feel "normal" :)

My grandmother had taken care of her dress nicely after she married and stored it in our attic in a white pillowcase in a trunk. When I discovered it while moving, after at least 50 years later, it was in wonderful condition. Also, you hadn't said that it was in perfect condition, just that Dee was going to have it professionally cleaned. Keep up the great stories and do what is best for you, your storylines and the rest of us appreciating fans!! Take care.
