Just wanted to say I've been a fan since the begining. I read about the hybrid strip and think it will be ok. But have just one request can Liz get married before it ends or at least move in with Anthony.
Thanks for my daily pick me up.

Your strip is the only one I read. I have been a fan for decades. The story line involving Liz and Anthony has always been my favorite. I agree with many of the readers that Liz could -- and should -- do better. This relationship has aged her along with her appearance. She looks too matronly for her age and looks like her mother's sister, not her daughter. Strangely, I like Deanna's hairstyle! It's Liz that needs the makeover.

The only thing I don't like about Liz and Anthony is WHY do the Patterson kids always end up with their childhood crushes??? Michael had a crush on Dee in elementary school, Liz dated Anthony in high school...What's next? I'm assuming April is totally gonna end up with Gerald when she's in her 20's! Do these kids EVER branch out and form lasting relationship with people that they DIDN'T know since childhood?? It seems all their relationships that didn't stem from a grade school/high school crush failed! Also, I used to REALLY enjoy the courtship of Dee and Michael and now they just seem like an old married couple. Their "spark" seems totally lost. I hate to say it but they seem to HATE being parents! They seem more annoyed by their children than happy! they both seem worn out, tired and boring! I hate the fact that I'm complaining though, because FBOFW is my absolute favorite comic strip ever and despite my complaints I never want you to retire...EVER! I want you to keep going until Merri and Robin become parents! Oh, and it would be a hilarious twist if April ends up marrying Jeremy Jones!!

Really enjoy your stip! I get my daily fix online. I understand that you are going to be changing the format in the coming months. However, please, please, please let Liz and Anthony have a beautiful wedding!!!! I totally identify with Anthony's character since some of his personality traits match my own. Nice guys don't always finish last. I'm living proof. I've been fortunate enough to still be married to someone who is still willing to put up with me after all these years! Thank you.

My wife and I both read your strip every single day. We ask each other, Have you read For Better Or For Worse today?

Regarding February 29, 2008:

"OK!"
"...OK, what?"
"OK, what am I thinking?"
"You're thinking, he doesn't know what I'm thinking... and you're right!"

Thanks so much! Keep up the wonderful work!

Elizabeth's life is a slow, downward spiral which started the minute she decided to leave Mtigwaki and run back to Milborough. With the now-seemingly inevitable marriage to Anthony, her self-destruction is accelerating quickly and will end in a very sad, total wreck. Seeing her life play out like this is akin to sitting in a lifeboat, watching the Titanic sink and knowing that there isn't a thing you can do to stop it.

I agree on Deanna's hairstyle!! Can she get a little mommy makeover...maybe just flip up the ends or curl it a little bit?
