I want to thank Lynn for doing her holiday stips in the present day rather than flashbacks. My holidays were lonely, so it was nice to share them with the Patterson family. I do hope that there will still be stories set in the present from time to time. We all want to know how the younger generations' lives turn out! I especially liked the New Years strip, when Michael and Dee are talking about a "Happy New Life."

I love that Anthony and Liz have finally gotten back together!! They belong together. And Ellie's whining about looking so old is right on target for me!! I'm the same age, and I whine about the same stuff!

Is there any way that Mira could be written out of the strip. I can't stand that woman and her overbearing personality. She is literally a huge pain in the rear.

I have to agree that both Elly and Connie seem to have suddenly aged, noticeably in the recent New Year strips. Please slow it down! Connie sure doesn't look like someone who ever had plastic surgery, and I'd hate to see her have it again!

Elly has a pretty good life. They have lots of money and she can do whatever she wants. I'm about her age and have had a lot more troubles, but I look younger and I try to have a positive attitude. Maybe Elly could begin some meaningful volunteering?

Over the years...25-some-odd...I have read FBorFW strips and my reactions have been well mixed. From laughter to understanding to OMG(!!!) and everything in between. I have watched the kids grow, sharing in their triumphs and pitfalls. Mourned the loss of heroic Farley. In my hometown of Colville, WA...we were able to watch the tv specials off the one Canadian channel we received. My kids have been hooked on the series since they were little.

I am looking forward to the melding of the old and new. Reliving fond memories while reading the old and looking forward to seeing where the future lies in the new.

Just one request: As with many of the books, which follow certain storylines...please consider releasing one that follows Elizabeth and Anthony. Their future looks promising, even with a few rough rides along the way. Just hold off on the marriage thing for a bit. Still a few uncertainties that shold be ironed out first...including how Therese would feel about Elizabeth being a permament part of her daughter's life.

I find as the years go by, that your strip is the one item I consistently read in the daily paper. I enjoy starting the day with that short read and a cup of coffee; a nice way to ease into the day. I find that a lot of the situations portrayed in the strip mirror the situations and thoughts that I and my friends share. I especially like the perspective that it puts on the parent/growing child relationship - it does my heart good to see those children learning those life lessons and coming to the realization that being an adult may be a bit more of a challenge than they think.

I have been reading the comments about Elly and how old she looks and then I find out that she is only 55...same as me! The 50s are a new life if you make it that way. There is a sort of freedom that you get back. Your career has settled down (or retired), the kids are grown and out on their own...so why not enjoy this new freedom?

I started traveling as a travel nurse 3 years ago. I move every 3 months or so. I love it...seeing new places, meeting new people and exploring. I ride a motorcycle, cycle, camp, scuba dive...Life is great after 50! Come on Elly, get with it! Do life. Don't let life do you.

I've loved the strip for going on 20 years. Just read today's Sunday strip where Meredith is bored with all her Christmas toys and mom doesn't have time to entertain her. For me it underlines the fact that children want our time more than our money and toys. I think getting children to help us with the chores gives great quality time together, builds self-esteem and gives us more time to do fun stuff together. My kitchen is my favourite place where all my children learned to cook with me and clean up together.

Happy New Year. Just wanted to let you know how glad i am to have FB or FW back on my daily schedule. My hard drive crashed on Dec 27th and I was without a computer until yesterday. As soon as I got reconnected to the internet (this morning), you were one of the first two sites I visited. Kevin and Kell was the other one. It's sure good to have my FB or Fw fix back.
I'm so happy with the way the Liz/Anthony story line is going and was glad to see the interaction between Liz and Threse. Truly, there are no villians here, just people who somnetimes screw up.
Always love to see Jim's thoughts. Please allow him to speak again so his family can know that he is still an active part of their lives.
Keep up the great work. God bless you and all your staff in this coming year.

I love this strip, in fact I have it bookmarked into my favorites on my laptop. I am a travel nurse and when I go on assignments I at least know once I get online I can catch up on any strips I have missed while on the road. I enjoy all of the characters and often associate with each of them at one time or another. I too think Elizabeth should have her own life and not have an instant family, most of the time it doesn't work out and then you cannot have blended families like it seems she wants with children of her own. So let her have Mr. Wonderful step in and sweep her into her own life and family and not one she has to heal. Thanks for making each morning I sign on a good start as I head off to work.
Keep up the good strips!!!
