Hello again, Lynn!
I just really thought of something. As the month of November draws closer to ending, so does my goal of "winning" for participating in national novel writing month. Fifty thousand words written in thirty days. It's the first time I've actually written so much.
But I thought back on some of the first things I read as a child. along with the cardboard books and such, there were your first compilations: "David, we're Pregnant!", "Hi Mom, Hi Dad!" and "Do they EVER Grow Up?" I also read the earlier collections of For Better or For Worse, including "Is This One Of Those Days, Daddy?"
I realized that it was while reading these books and storylines at the age of five and six that I had made the decision to be a writer.
I wanted to thank you personally for helping me decide to do something so enriching in my life. I'm realizing my goal now of finishing my first novel, and I can guarantee there will be more to come!

We don't particularly care for the flashbacks; we would like to continue with the Patterson's every day lives. This comic strip was one of the highlights of our morning and now it is not interesting.

I love the new hybrid and the juxposition between the old and the new.........I have been a fan since the strip began and quite enjoy all your innovations. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us.

Thank you so much for your stories over the past 25 years. My wife and I have truly enjoyed reading them and can relate to so many stories raising our son William and daughter, Elizabeth. We also dealt with the death of a pet and grandparents. As a therapist and teacher, I have used some of your stories to help my clients and students understand diversity issues(Lawrence)and how we must be willing to accept everyone. We are sadden to see the stories freeze in time. We have looked forward to seeing Elizabeth settle down in a permanent relationship. We will continue to follow the stories and wonder how Jon and Ellie are enjoying semi and total retirement.

I have been a fan of "For Better or Worse" since 1990 when I was living in the United States. I've followed the lives of the Pattersons, watching their children grow up, and seeing how they lived through life's many challenges. I recently took an executive position in Shanghai, China, and one of my first questions was how I would keep up with the daily strip. I had never looked at the website, and was very pleased to see that I won't miss any of strips with my relocation here.
Thanks for your focus on the family, and for making your strip available for people throughout the world. You have at least one big fan in China.
