I have been a fan forever it seems. I got one of your books when I was confined to bed in hospital awaiting the birth of my triplet daughters. It kept me entertained while I waited and I had read your daily strip in the paper whenever I had a chance. You scare me sometimes because I think you are looking in my living room or kitchen and seeing what is going on in my house and reflecting it in your strip. Thanks for keeping me sane all these years.
Keep up the good work.
I agree with some of the others, I want to know about Elizabeth and Anthony - I am a romantic at heart.

Lynn,
I have greatly enjoyed your strip for the last 10 years. The new, hybrid strip has affected me in a unique way. I always viewed Elly as a mother figure, but I did not see her in myself. Now that I am a few months away from becoming a mother myself, I am discovering a connection with the "young" Elly. I hope I will have the same strenghth and humor to handle parenthood.

We have been reading For Better or Worse just about as long as it has been published in the US. The thing that made this strip stand out above all others was the progression of characters & story lines. Now, we learn that sometime next year this format will change & things will stand still with look backs. In my opinion, this is the wrong direction for the strip to take. Farley died & we wept with you, Elizabeth is in love again & we want to see her future family & the continuation of Michaels' family. Please reconsider the direction you are taking or if nothing else take a poll of your readers before making such a drastic change.
Thank you for the many years of insightful & thought provoking enjoyment you have given us.

I just want to say that FBOFW is the very first thing I remember reading aloud to my Nana when I was 4 years old. FBOFW was her favorite comic and she would always read it to me (and then me to her). So for the last 22 years, FBOFW has been in my life. I have loved growing up with the family, and even now when I sit down to read it, I still read it aloud to my Nana so she still gets her fix. Thank you for providing a fond memory for me!

While it's difficult to think of the characters lives "freezing" in time, I'm glad you've chosen to take a look back with us as well. I'm also glad you're telling us the "end" of the story with Grandpa Jim, Liz and Anthony, and April. You've always been brave enough to depict real life events in the lives of your characters, good, bad, or ugly. That takes a lot of guts and grace. I think that that quality is what makes them seem real to us and what keeps us interested in their lives. Thank you, Lynn.

Lynn, I have spent many years following the lives of the Pattersons. Thank you for such a wonderfully delightful strip.

Of all the challenging storylines you've written over the years, the one that bothers me the most has to be Grandpa Jim's current story. It is actually very painful to read because I watched my own family deal with this exact situation for many years. The fact that you can tell this tale so realistically is testament to your ability to really bring home both the good and bad in daily life.

I'm sad to see the family move into a state where they will no longer age and I'm not 100% sure I like the hybrid format but I'd rather have that then not have the Pattersons to look forward to in the mornings.

Thank you!
