« Thursday October 25, 2007 - A little advice for the band members and Liz | Main | Monday October 29, 2007 »
Just wanted to spill my own beans about Elly's hair. So many people call it frumpy and say it ages her. I am very proud of her, myself, since so many women think that after you reach a certain age you're required to cut your hair. I've been admiring 50-something Jane Seymour's long hair lately on Dancing with the Stars, and am proud of my late-sixties Mom whose hair is longer than it's been in years--and naturally grey as well! We should be allowed to have the hair we're comfortable with, and Elly must be comfortable with her bun. Who are any of us to bug her to change it?

My all time favorite is the recent strip when Anthony and Liz finally found each other again -- actually it was the two strips down by the water at the wedding! Keep up the wonderful work! I'm a longtime reader, and even purchased an out of state paper when the NH Union Leader refused to run the Lawrence series. How about having those guys do a small, tasteful garden wedding on John's new property?

I have followed the Patterson lives since way before April was born. Never miss a day. We are so happy that Liz and Anthony have gotten together. Just as it should be. My favorite strip is Elly trying on swim suits and April escaping from the dressing room with the two of them running through the mall.

I have been reading FBorFW for 20 years I think. My older daughters who are now 27 and 25 were small. I have always related to Elly and her family. My youngest daughter was born when I was 40. My favorites are when Elly complains about her weight and around her 50th birthday when her friend wanted to party and Elly wanted to hide. Lynn, I just love the Patterson's and you.
Thank you so much for brightening my day!!!

Lynn, I love FBoFW. It is the first thing I look to everyday. I love watching Michael and Deena raise their family. It is so much like my life dealing with my 2 yr old twins. Watching Michael be a father makes me chuckle thinking about the headaches he caused his parents. I actually still have a strip from when Michael first got his drivers license. It was about not going nuts worrying about them and it is a statement I live by hoping we are raising them good enough to make the right decisions in later life. So thank you for an outside glimpe of my life. It sure puts it more in prospective.
