I had always admired the way you showed honesty, integrity, character, moral soundness and so on in your comic strip, "For Better or For Worst" in the past. But for the last few weeks you have shown us how you are a very discrimatory and prejudice person by the way you have portrayed Anthony's ex wife as "Thérèse " and without missing even "one accent" in the spelling of her name. You have angered many of your supporters including me. You may be a successful and well-known person all over Canada and the States but this does not give you permission to discriminate against any race.
This is NOT what being a good Christian is all about and also does not spell success in my view. My friends and I will not be supporting you any longer unless you can somehow redeem yourself through your comic strip, "For Better or For Worst"
How do you account for this discrimination?
Anne and friends
Greetings Anne. There's no discrimination intended; Anthony's ex just happens to have a French-Canadian name. Lynn has nothing against the French, in fact we have two French-Canadian team members: Laura Piché (by marriage) and Jackie Levesque. We also have a French-Canadian contractor on board: Paul Gauthier, whom you can meet in our Real People section here. French (as well as Spanish, Russian and myriad other languages) can be heard in the studio on a regular basis.
