Why are you subjecting us to this rerun from just last month? Did you have a bunch of strips made about them at the time that someone screwed up and forgot to run? You showed us this already with some restraint on your part. There is no need to go back and show it all again, except with more words. Just stop already.
In case you've forgotten, you already told us how this works out : Liz wants to take it slow. That pretty much precludes anything interesting from happening on the beach just a few weeks in the past.

I am addicted to FBFW. I have been reading it since high school. I own most of the books, have seen the TV cartoons, but love the strip best of all. While I think Liz and Anthony will work out, I was most touched by Grandpa Jim's stroke, my own grandmother had a stroke several years ago. She passed away from complications. I have loved the stories of Jim and Iris. They are quite the pair. Shannon's story is my favorite of all, I love that April has such a compassionate nature.
Keep up the fantastic work.

I only have two words to describe the "Elizabeth suddenly out of nowhere realizes every guy she ever dated besides Anthony is a complete tool and also she is suddenly madly in love with him" storyline: Con Trived.

Liz and Anthony - Yes! Love and marriage aren't about glitz, but about longtime connections... and these two have been growing together even while apart.

I am happy to see Liz and Anthony start up again. To see Liz finally getting a chance at finding her true love and able to have a loving home life with extended family I can relate to that I am a part of a extened family and so blessed to be with all its ups and downs.
Keep up the good work Lynn

There has been a lot of pro/con discussion regarding the fact that Anthony & Liz are dating. Some readers seem to be outraged, while others are happy.
I see it as life. Anthony wants what he screwed up about. Liz is pining for dreams and lost chances.
Will this work out? In the long term, I doubt it. Anthony probably won't live up to the image of him that Liz has in her head. And Liz probably live up to the image Anthony has in his head about the perfect marriage.
In the short-term, they will likely be in a state of bliss, followed by a marriage, a child, and a divorce.
I don't see this as a for or against, I see it as life.

I don't really know why, and I can't pin it down, but this whole storyline with Liz and Anthony is giving me the creeps. I really can't explain it. I am not against blended families at all. It just gives me an odd feeling every time the comic comes back to it.

Despite sharing a birthday with April I feels as if I share a closer bond with Elizabeth. She seems to match my personalty and I am at the moment, studying to be a teacher. After Paul and Liz broke up I was sad, but angry (with Paul, of course). I though Warren would perhaps make a good stand-in but now I am overjoyed with Liz and Anthony. In a way I think they are meant to be together. I mean, it would not have worked right out of high school but they have had time to see what else is out there and I believe they are right for one another. I hope they stay together. (And liz wold be an excelent step-mother)

I have been faithfully reading your comic every day for over a year now and I keep telling myself I wish there was a place to write my thoughts and my "HURRAYS" when something awesome happened. Then I discovered you had this coffee talk. THANKS. About Liz and Anthony, I LOVE IT!! Ever since I learned about Anthony, I don't know, I have hoped she would get with him because he was just so sweet for her. I didn't even think that there would be people out there that would not like the pairing. So Now I am curious, is there a way you could bring out old stripes about when they were dating when they were young, like how you did with Mike and Deanna?
I also love how dynamic you make the characters. Growing and changing, just awesome!

I have enjoyed FBorFw for many years. It has been a joy to end each day and having the opportunity to fall into the Patterson Family activities. I now have two children who race to the comic section to find out what is happening to the Pattersons and a supper hour is not complete without discussing what may happen in the following days edition. Thank you for providing a wonderful world that not only is entertaining but also educational!!

I've followed this strip for years -- Elizabeth's birthday is one day after mine -- and Michael is the same age as my brother, so my mom always read the strip to us when we looked at the "funnies" together. The Elizabeth-Anthony storyline troubles me for a couple reasons. 1) Elizabeth had so many good things going for her up North and her decision to leave was just abrupt. After all the time spent developing the village and the characters there -- not to mention Elizabeth's obvious passion for her work and the people -- they've been abandoned in what feels like 2) an attempt to neatly tie up all the storylines before the strip moves into it's new format or wherever it's headed. So 3) since that point, everything has felt forced (Paul cheating, Warren being smarmy, Elizabeth deciding she needs to live close to home along with her brother and sister-in-law) and unnatural. Life doesn't end in bows and sometimes your loved ones live far away and you lose in love. That'!
s life. Let Elizabeth live her life and stop trying to make her into someone she's not. I say that because so much time has been invested in developing her into character who is at odds with how she is acting now.
My husband laughs at me because I get very worked up about the goings on in FBOFW, but I have a lot of time invested in it, so I think I, along with the other dedicated readers, deserve a good story, not one that is obviously forced wtih characters acting out of character, so to speak.

Liz deserves everlasting joy and mature happiness in her life....I was convinced that Paul ("Mr. Wright") was the one, but he wimped out when it came to choosing between Liz and his life in the "North", and he eventually cheated on her....Well, good ole Warren was more than happy to fly right in and show Liz the lie with Paul, but then he too wimped out when it came to choosing between Liz and his flyaway occupation....Bye-bye, Warren!....So why not the good, solid Anthony who has always loved Liz--and Liz has been too blind to see! Anthony is the accounting backbone of Mays Motors and has made that business a resounding success....Hey, I believe that Anthony with the smart, adventurous Liz by his side, could start his own business and become wildly prosperous too....Liz completes him and he completes her! I simply think it's meant to be, thank you very much.
