About Jesse: Jesse was one of Liz's students in Mtigwaki. He's a bright kid and a mischief-maker, but he redeems himself - most importantly to Liz, by keeping her from becoming too lonely. He found an abandoned kitten and convinced the reluctant Liz to adopt her. "Shiimsa" is now sharing Elizabeth's pillow and her heart.
