About Bev: Bev Cruikshank, John's sister, is a veterinarian who lives on a farm outside Winnipeg, Manitoba with husband Dan. The Patterson kids sometimes spent summers at the farm doing chores and having fun. The Cruikshanks continue to operate the farm and enjoy doing so.
