Wedding Bells for Anthony

In 2001, Liz would be good-naturedly manipulated into bumping into Anthony by her well-meaning family members. Liz had been living with Eric, but already suspected him of cheating on her, a concern echoed by Candace and Elly, who could see problems with the relationship that Liz wasn't ready to confront.

Anthony invited Liz out to a New Year's party and surprised her with some news she wasn't expecting.

After her holidays are over, Liz returns to school, catches Eric cheating on her, and leaves him. After the school year ends, she returns home to Milborough for the summer where she says goodbye to Anthony yet again.

About one year later, an invitation to Anthony and Thérèse's wedding arrives for Liz.

Not wanting to attend without an escort, Liz asks to be introduced to one of Lawrence's friends and meets Dennis, a law student who likes to dance.
